so I had pancakes. they tasted really good, and now I have no energy. I'm literally almost nodding off. DULY NOTED.

better option? bacon. but that's how this morning panned out. I'll be a pork nazi on monday. :)

huge shock here, BUT...

...a particularly bad hormonal cycle pushed me over the edge of sugar cliff this week, big time. gah! trying to get back on track one meal at a time, but I don't think I'll be able to get right back up on it until monday. which isn't being defeatist or whatever, this weekend is just going to be about baking. it's my great-nephew's (gah! great anything attached to any title of mine is freaky) baby shower on sunday, so it's on me to make a fondant covered, intricately decorated cake for the occasion (plus cupcakes). once that's over and done with, I can get back to normal, whatever that is for me. well...low carb anyway. :)

so I'm down a couple more lbs from the looks of it, so that brings it to 20. yay! if only that were a significant percentage of what I NEED to lose...argh. intead of focusing on it, I'm trying to think of doing this for the duration. the odd off meal or even off day is fine. the odd off week or month or consecutive weeks/month though? not ok.'d think I'd be an ace at dieting/lifestyle by now, I've been at it for so long! :P

it's been yoga yoga yoga, work work work, and too many nuts so far this week. I discovered almond meal crackers. it's all over, folks. I just want to eat those and that's it. hahaha! I kid, I'm reining (spelling? looks wrong) the nut consumption in a little, as I think they make me retain some water. as someone whose body LOVES to retain water...yeah, I don't need it.

also...I'm exhausted all the time lately, which sucks. I think it's my upstairs neighbour getting up at an ungodly hour to get to work, and when he showers, it's thunderous in my bedroom. I still can't get used to it. bah.

other than that...things are sailing along, I suppose...

the six week challenge is over...

...and I'm down 17 lbs! yay! 17 badly needed lbs. it's awful how high I let it get, but at least I stopped it, riiiight? there's another challenge starting in may, so I'll be low carbing from here on in. but more carbs between now and then, so I can drop down during challenge time.
