I had the worst sleep I've had in months, if not years, last night. stupid time change. I tried to go to bed a *little* early. falling asleep was a huge problem, then staying asleep was a huge problem. I'd HOPED that I would sleep like a rock since I had practice last night, but no such luck. my sore throat is back full force.
speaking of which, it seems like the flu has become a far worse thing than it used to be (except for the times when it regularly killed people, anyway)! I remember that colds were 2-3 days, and the flu was 5-7 days. none of this recurring for a month BS. almost makes me wonder if the flu shot (which I NEVER get) has something to do with it. *shrug*
less induction-esque food choices this week! I've decided to reintroduce nuts first. I worked through the carb rungs in order in the summer, this time nuts are first.
breakfast:
bacon
oopsie french toast
butter
coconut oil
xylitol syrup
small piece of turkey (I wanted to make sure I was FULL!)
lunch:
turkey
peppers
mayo
coconut oil/cocoa/erythritol
snack:
homemade bounty/mounds bar (please see the recipe here! these are INCREDIBLE and Lauren is a genius!)
dinner:
turkey
salad
mashed cauliflower & gravy

Just wondering where you find your xylitol syrup? Do you make it yourself or is it a brand you buy at the store????

I got the xylitol syrup from netrition.com. it's Nature's Hollow brand, and it's awesome. exponentially better the second time for some weird reason. it comes in maple and raspberry flavours, and the raspberry is on its way to me now. can't wait! :)
