day 1 - 210-211.5 lbs (stupid scale, and stupid me for binging on carbs as means of self-medication)
ok!
so I'm off to a running start. ok, not so much. but so far, so good. one meal in and I'm being good. ;)
I should make a note of it that this is day 5 of the yam cream. I have to use it 12 days in a row, according to my herbalist, and I don't want to get it wrong just yet.
anyway! food:
breakfast:
1 egg
1/4 cup peppers
2.5 (SMALL) pork cutlets, seasoned with organic smoked garlic chipotle salt.
snack:
1 oz cheddar cheese
lunch:
ground beef with peppers and spices (yeah, I gotta take the time to shop and cook!)
snack:
1/2 pork cutlet, leftover from breakfast
dinner:
more ground beef (see previous shopping comment)
mashed cauliflower
I'm going to try to do a couple of days with no sweet at all, but I'm torn. I want to eat xylitol for its anti-candida properties. but I'll still try a couple of days without.
also, I want to just use himalayan crystal salt for cooking, as it actually has health benefits. the seasoning I used on my pork chops is actually made with it.
AND, I'm going to hopefully have my shit together well enough to not eat any kind of deli meats for the two weeks as well. I'm going to get some sugar-free bacon, I wish I could find sugar AND nitrate free in my area, but ah well.
